STABLE CONVERSION
-
Firstly a new foundation was created to carry the brick plinth
-
A robust timber frame was constructed on site and anchored to the plinth
-
We chose trusses for the roof for convenience, cost and ease of installation
-
As you can see from the photos, we used a high specification insulation to minimize heating costs in the long term for the client
-
External weather boarding is a wood grain cement board - low maintenance and blends with rural surroundings
-
Commercial type roof covering - low maintenance and echos back to the original stable
-
Entrance path of Indian sand stone
